Samarium-cobalt permanent magnet

Sintered samarium–cobalt permanent magnets are permanent magnetic materials whose primary constituents are samarium and cobalt. They encompass 1:5-type and 2:17-type samarium–cobalt magnets, which are further classified into SmCo5 and Sm2Co17. These materials are distinguished by their excellent magnetic stability, superior thermal resistance, and exceptional corrosion resistance. Their operating temperature can reach up to 350°C, making them ideally suited for manufacturing high‑performance permanent‑magnet motors and other applications with demanding environmental requirements.
